Lincat hires new northern manager

Catering equipment manufacturer Lincat has appointed Tracey Jackson as North West and Scotland regional sales manager.

Jackson will be working closely with Lincat’s extensive network of dealers to provide advice and support.

She has 25 years of sales experience in the food sector, across foodservice, retail and cost sector operations. This includes establishing a chilled food manufacturing business herself.

Jackson also has previous experience with one of Lincat’s competitors, as an area sales executive for the northern region. Her new role allows her predecessor Sev Uzar to take on fully his new role as national accounts manager – distributors.

Furthermore, Richard Brown joins the company as a national accounts manager, looking after some of Lincat’s key chain accounts, such as Wetherspoons, Whitbread, Tesco, M&B, as well as developing new accounts. Both Jackson and Brown are based in Lancashire.

Sales director Rob Gibson commented: “We are delighted to welcome both Richard and Tracey to the team. Their extensive sales experience and industry knowledge will help further develop our strong distributor network, which plays a key part in the high-quality customer service we offer. Their appointment is part of a reorganisation and expansion of our sales team, to ensure a more comprehensive coverage across the UK.”
