Lincat has appointed Suzanne Hutchison as business development manager (BDM) for Scotland, to drive sales of its commercial catering equipment north of the border.

She joins the manufacturer following almost 8 years’ experience of specifying Lincat equipment in her role as heavy equipment/project specialist for distributor Alliance Disposables.

Mike Woodman, sales manager of Lincat explained: “We have seen a strong growth in demand for Lincat equipment in Scotland. Suzanne’s single focus will be to guide and grow this business, by providing dedicated support to equipment dealers and national accounts throughout the country.”

She added: “I am a genuine fan of Lincat equipment and I can’t wait to get started. I have specified it on countless occasions because it’s well designed, strongly built and reliable. And there is such a wide range of equipment to choose from, which means that you can get everything you need from a single source.

“Added to that, Lincat typically offers 3-day delivery service throughout Scotland. This makes all the difference when competing for projects of all kinds.”

Hutchison will be based in her home town of Hamilton, South Lanarkshire. She has recently completed a degree in business studies which she studied for part-time. In her leisure time, she enjoys landscape photography and spinning vinyl as a DJ.
