Lincat has added a new four-zone induction oven range to its ‘no-frills’ Phoenix series.
The PHER02 is claimed to be powerful, energy efficient and robust, and measures 600mm wide, which should make it suitable for small to medium-sized establishments.
The new model follows the successful launch of the PHER01 Phoenix induction oven range last year, as Helen Applewhite, marketing manager of Lincat, explained: “Demand for the PHER01 has been unprecedented since its launch at Hotelympia last year and, with the demand for induction ever-growing, we thought carefully about how we could develop the product range further.
“Customers told us they wanted to invest in an induction oven range but didn’t require the output of a 900mm wide model. The PHER02 does exactly this, without compromising on power, and will make our Phoenix induction oven ranges accessible to more operators.”
The unit’s hob top features four induction zones that deliver 1.85kW each. However, if additional power and flexibility is required, two zones can be boosted to 3kW, whilst the remaining two continue to deliver 0.7kW.
The hob top is constructed from 6mm thick high impact resistant glass and is fitted with in-built pan detection to conserve energy. At the same time, multiple internal cooling fans should provide protection against overheating and extend service life.
Below, a fan-assisted 6kW oven is designed to provide fast heat up times and is able to accommodate up to three 1/1 gastronorms. Heavy duty castors, to facilitate cleaning, are provided as standard.
As with all Lincat products sold in the UK, the PHER02 will be supplied with a comprehensive, 2-year parts and labour warranty.
