Liebherr GB’s commercial refrigeration team has recruited 12-year refrigeration foodservice veteran Andy Clarke to be at the head of a drive into the hospitality and catering sectors.
He commented: “I was thrilled to be asked to join Liebherr whose quality refrigeration and freezing solutions lead the foodservice, supermarket, ice cream and medical sectors in Europe and many countries around the world.
“It’s a great time to join Liebherr as we are just starting to make an impression in the UK’s foodservice sectors.”
Clarke added: “After seeing first-hand in Austria the quality of design, build and testing that every Liebherr commercial appliance goes through I knew I wanted to play a key national role in bringing them to foodservice equipment dealers, consultants and end users all over the country.”
While Stephen Ongley, Liebherr’s national sales manager for business and industry, said: “Andy has many established contacts in foodservice and his knowledge of refrigeration solutions is outstanding.
“He will be at this this year’s HRC Show on stand P400 where we will display several new models and he will be an asset in getting across our messages around the energy saving and total cost of ownership benefits of Liebherr refrigerators, freezers and wine cabinets.”
