LF upgrades part picking

LF now has eight stacker cranes at its Italian headquarters.

Spare parts supplier LF Group has invested in its seventh and eighth stacker cranes, installed at its Cesena, Italy-based headquarters this year.

The new cranes should help to find, pick and pack parts in an even quicker time.

The first installation of stacker cranes began in 1999, and the company feels this is strongly connected to its growth: the increase in orders and the acquisition of customers in new countries.

These benefits and the company’s expansion have allowed for four further stacker cranes to be built in the last 4 years, in a warehouse which now takes up an area of 8,700metres2.

Technological and logistic investments have always represented an important role in LF’s strategy. For example, to ensure a quick spares supply, currently serving 96 countries, LF has developed personalised software for the management of the warehouse.

LF’s mission is to offer a complete of sales program and be a powerful one-stop shop for professional and domestic spare parts and accessories regarding cooking equipment, refrigeration, warewashing, coffee, and vending.
