Italian support company LF Spare Parts says it has been able to respond faster to its customers since it opened its UK office in March.
The UK operation consists of three people focused on sales and customer support, with LF headquarters in Italy providing the back-up for shipping, purchasing and marketing.
The company views its current investment as a bridgehead to a more substantial presence in the future. “Our main focus has been getting to know present and prospective customers, visiting exhibitions and testing the spare parts market in general,” said Mark Brooks, director LF Spare Parts UK, in an interview with Catering Insight.
“LF is fast, reliable and competitive. We can definitely respond to all requests effectively,” he added.
LF is a specialist in the provision of original spare parts for major Italian and European brands direct to operators and also to channel partners.
The company’s mission in the UK is to ramp up stock levels and drive down turnaround times.
“We have many areas of strength, such as the top-quality service, fast deliveries at competitive rates, wide product range and, of course, a high-tech Internet shop area where customers can see live stock, prices and order & track 24/7,” explained Brooks.
LF recognises that it faces stiff competition in the UK market, but is establishing a presence that will allow it to grow. “Our first job is establish our company as a leading player in the market, and this is not an easy task. Then to keep up with the good work in terms of improving our service in providing spares for all areas of the catering trade, including up-and-coming new sectors such as vending, beverage and dispensing equipment,” he concluded.
