The fridge unit comes with a wire shelf (as standard) and integrated ice box for added convenience making it suitable for storing sliced fruit or cocktail ingredients. Alternatively the countertop freezer features a 32litre capacity and adjustable thermostat; it can be used for both back and front of house.

The drinks cooler unit also features a space efficient design, with a footprint of 500mm x 470mm x 450mm (h/w/d) and a glass door and two chrome plated bottle racks for a clear display of the drinks held within. It has a 51litre capacity and weighs 21kg, as well as featuring a full plug-and-go operation for portability.

As with other units in the Lec Commercial range, the EssenChill Countertop appliances come with a 2 year parts and labour warranty as standard.

Jon Usher, head of UK sales and marketing for Lec Commercial commented: “The EssenChill range has been one of our company’s best sellers since launching 2 years ago. Combining excellent levels of affordability with a number of user friendly features, the range offers versatility and reliability in every detail.

“The new countertop products will further expand on the capability of the range, taking many of the aspects of the larger models and transferring these into a series of three, space efficient countertop appliances. Developed following caterer demands, the units may be small but provide an excellent capacity and vital functions for both front and back of house catering setups across the industry.”
