Vision Commercial Kitchens has played a major role in kitting out a London bistro and chef school that will provide apprenticeships for 25 disadvantaged people.
Lancashire-based Vision gave significant input to the project involving the Brigade Bar & Bistro and Cook School at The Fire Station in London’s Tooley Street, overseeing the development of the kitchen and supplying a range of equipment.
The company is a key partner of manufacturer Dawson and supplied heavy duty prime cooking equipment from the brand as part of the deal.
Simon Boyle of the Beyond Food Foundation, which provided part of the investment for the project and runs it as a social enterprise, believes the equipment installed will give the individuals training at the facility a great induction to commercial cooking.

In total 500 homeless and disadvantaged people will go through a well-being and catering programme through Boyle’s Beyond Food Foundation.
