Dawson has unveiled details of the new premium combi oven range that will replace the Lainox Heart Green X Specification line.

Called ‘Naboo’, the new range is packed with technology that Lainox says marks a “new age” in combi ovens. It will be released in theUK market on April 1.

Naboo brings full WiFi connectivity to the professional kitchen, giving chefs access to the Lainox Cloud, a web-based library for chefs to share, store and manage all types of information.

Users can also interact with the Lainox team live and take advantage of its HD video support capabilities all on the Lainox Cloud.

The Naboo range boasts the first ever HD 10-inch Android tablet control centre on a combi, allowing users to quickly and simply navigate through the extensive content the oven offers.

“Our ambition is to create a new standard in combination ovens,” declared Marco Ferroni managing director of Lainox. “Up until now, these appliances have been steel boxes with some technology. Now they have become devices that share information and knowledge with an international community of chefs.

“Using recipes in the Cloud assures the maximum reliability and quality without limiting the creativity of the chef. It is also a great help in optimising work in the kitchen when there are large numbers of meals to prepare.”

Multi-level cooking reduces preparation times by up to 30%, according to the company, while a ‘Just in Time’ function indicates the correct times to insert different foods so they are all ready at the same time.

A new automatic washing system utilises multiple dose detergent capsules that are managed autonomously, eliminating problems of transportation errors in dosage or contact with harmful substances.

In addition to Naboo, Lainox is also releasing the Sapians range, which replace the Heart Green S Spec line.
Dawson says the new range, which is also out on April 1, will not cost any more than its predecessor.

A redesigned cavity for improved cooking results, built-in spray hose as standard on all Sapiens models, and totally new wash and CALout system are the stand-out qualities possessed by the new range.

Ferroni said UK dealers would be able to get a close-up look at the new combi ovens at Hotelympia. “We have so many innovations to share we have taken the decision to give Lainox its own platform for Naboo and Sapiens,” he said.
