Krupps presented its new app and Double Load accessory at this year’s Host.

Italian warewasher manufacturer Krupps chose this year’s Host Milan trade show to present its latest innovations.

At the forefront of these was the Krupps App, which will be available at the beginning of 2022.

The app has been developed to help both salespeople and engineers access all Krupps’ information via a smartphone. The system showcases catalogues and promotions plus has a section dedicated to technical maintenance.

UK MD Riccardo Scotto commented: “We know that engineers are asking for practical solutions. They need support very quickly while dealing with a customer and the Krupps App is the ideal companion for them. They can very quickly find videos, manuals and everything they need in a couple of clicks.”

The manufacturer also presented a new accessory directed at cafes: ‘Double Load’, with two baskets, is a feature for sites that wash a huge number of tea cups. Operators can use one basket to place cups while the other one can deal with the small plates. The upper basket rolls on two rails and accommodates the crockery load. But if the caterer needs to wash tall glasses they can remove the upper basket to do so.

At Host, Krupps introduced a new washing arm too. Constructed from stainless steel, this new arm combines acetal resin with glass fibre technology, to provide better efficiency thanks to a lighter weight. This is designed to facilitate daily cleaning for end users and help engineers to inspect and wash the washing arms.

All Krupps models come with the 3FS, a triple filtering system that is designed to enable a cleaner dishwasher, with impurity-free washing arms and a safer drain.
