Waterford-based distributor, Murco Catering Equipment, has recently completed three projects with the help of warewasher manufacturer, Krupps.
The first was a full kitchen fitout at the Cook Medical facility in Limerick.
Two Krupps units were installed, an EL985 utensil washer and an EVPLV120ESX rack conveyor dishwasher with roller tabling on the entry and exit sides.
Murco sales manager Alan Murphy, detailed: “The Krupps support was outstanding, starting from the collaboration of the plant drawing, up to the product setting information, in order to complete a successful installation.”
Next, the distributor was commissioned by Monart Destination Spa in Wexford to replace an existing warewasher in a very compact space. The firm installed a Krupps EVO211, which includes a heat recovery system.
Finally, an EVO311 was installed at eye health products company Bausch & Lomb in Waterford.
David Murphy, Murco head engineer, added: “Bausch & Lomb is a very busy facility so breakdown just cannot happen. The machine that was replaced was an almost 20 year old and from a high end brand which was repeatedly breaking down, causing a lot of frustration.
“It was important to the client that the unit we installed had the same high quality as the previous unit in its prime. We installed an EVO311 with heat recovery to the existing tabling a few months ago and the unit is running perfectly which is now keeping the staff very happy.”
Krupps UK export MD Riccardo Scuotto said: “The feedback received is all good. From our partner Murco we have two more rack conveyor units on order for a hotel in Waterford and for the Department of Education main canteen in Dublin city centre, so we will have a good spread of them across the country come the end of the year.”
Krupps has also installed two further EVO rack conveyor units in the UK this month.
