Southport-based distributor, Kitchequip, finished refurbishing the Centenary Club kitchen at Liverpool Football Club ahead of the beginning of the new Premier League season.

With work lasting just 5 weeks, the club’s chefs were once again able to prepare meals after the project’s completion in early August.

Several of the old tiled walls were removed and new ones built to suit a completely new design.

Two separate mirrored cook lines now feed the two main lounges (Championship and European), plus the dealer removed the old separate walk in fridge and freezer and installed a new chiller.

Project manager Peter Taylor detailed: “The work programme was extremely tight and was precision planned.

“Firstly we had to remove the old equipment, floors and ceilings. Then we fitted new duct works, canopies and complete hygienic wall finishes, along with a new ceiling including LED lighting, new vinyl floor and then the new equipment.”

The kit ranged from Frima VarioCooking Centers and Mareno cooking appliances to stainless steel fabrication.

Kitchequip also appreciated contributions from other suppliers including Exoair, Archer Catering Systems, Foster Coldstores, Hygienic Finishing System and CED Fabrications.
