Kitchen house ABDA plays it safe

Northamptonshire-based ABDA Creative Design & Build has revealed it has been successful in its application for safecontractor accreditation.

The company said it applied for the accreditation due to the need for a uniform standard across the business.

“We have invested heavily in training within the business, ensuring that from conception to completion safety is paramount on all of our projects,” explained managing director David Summers.

ABDA employs 14 people and is principally involved in the design and build sector, specialising in the hospitality and leisure industries.

Its most recent clients have included major players such as Curzon Cinemas, Shrewsbury School and Roadchef.

safecontractor is a third party accreditation scheme which recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.

Many major clients recognise the scheme and accept the safecontractor certificate as confirmation of competency.

Yesterday, Vision Commercial Kitchens also revealed that it had been awarded accreditation from safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.
