Keith Radcliffe has joined equipment manufacturer Sammic as a regional sales manager, covering the north of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.
He will be working with the manufacturer’s existing distributor base in the region, as well as aiming to obtain new business within the area. Offering a hands-on approach, he will be managing training and onsite demonstrations.
“I believe that Sammic is a well-known brand and as a manufacturer offers excellent products which the company is always developing, and it is willing to listen to distributor and end user feedback,” Radcliffe commented.
“Sammic excites me as I will be working with products that I am so used to and other products I have sold in the past.” These include warewashers, sous vide machines, dynamic preparation equipment and cookers and other equipment for snack bars and pizzerias.
Radcliffe added: “I am looking forward to meeting with existing customers and also getting to know the many new customers that will see at first hand the quality service that I can offer to them. I always said that if a job at Sammic was available then I would love to work for the company as in the past it has always been a caring and likeable business with quality products.”
Sammic’s sales director, John Lloyd, said: “I am pleased that Keith has joined the Sammic UK team and look forward to him bringing his experience and knowledge to Sammic.”
Prior to Radcliffe’s appointment, he worked for Maidaid Halcyon for more than 9 years. His career began in 1983 at Modern Kitchen Equipment in Liverpool, learning the trade by first working in the firm’s warehouse, then being promoted to assistant showroom manager, followed by area sales manager.
He has also worked for companies such as Mollett’s, Wardpark Gardiner, CED Fabrications and Kitchequip.
