John McEvoy wows TikTok again after England reach Euros final

John McEvoy third football video crop
John McEvoy has created his third football chant for Euro 2020.

Bournville Catering Equipment MD John McEvoy has once again revised his popular football chant in response to the England football team’s victory over Denmark in Euro 2020.

To celebrate the team’s progression into its first final in 55 years, McEvoy followed up his two previous chants that brought him viral fame in recent weeks – and an appearance on ITV’s This Morning – with a new version.

Daughter Sophie McCausland, Bournville’s office manager, posted the new video on TikTok this morning and tweeted that McEvoy had lost his voice from being at last night’s game at Wembley.

He has updated the lyrics of ‘She’ll Be Coming Round the Mountain’ this time to say:

“We’re playing in the final, what a dream.

“Kane, Sterling, Grealish, what a team!

“We’ve got Pickford, Shaw, Maguire, the England are on fire.

“And football’s coming home once again!”

Despite only being posted up a few hours ago, the video has already garnered over 45,000 views at the time of writing.

McEvoy’s first video this year has so far reached 4.7m views, while his first revision has currently been seen by 1.7m.

Whichever version of the lyrics you prefer, don’t forget to sing the song on Sunday when England face Italy in the Euro 2020 final at Wembley, kicking off at 8pm.

  1. I promise that I will show the english flag to my office windows and I will support england team in the Sunday final, if John calls me and orders any KRUPPS dishwasher!! :-)

  2. The reach these videos have had is crazy, my son and his freinds were singing it a week ago, I asked who made that up and he said “a guy called John on TikTok”
It’s not often I can tell my 9 year old the guy in his Tiktok video works in the same industry I do! ?
