JLA is upping the kitchen maintenance ante by offering customers a “no obligation” visit from one of its catering equipment engineers.
The company says its free ‘Kitchen Health Check’ is designed to reinforce the importance of keeping commercial catering appliances maintained.
Engineers will highlight any issues which could affect the running of the kitchen, ensure compliancy with Gas Safe and fire regulations, and give “visibility” of all appliances in the kitchen, which JLA insists is particularly helpful for multi-site customers managing complex asset registers.
The offer will include a 10-point check that covers everything from the water boiler to the combi oven, according to JLA.
Once the check has been completed, the Yorkshire-based outfit says it will provide customers with a tailored report detailing the engineer’s findings on-site, including appliance condition, compliancy and an up-to-date asset register of equipment.
JLA has grown its kitchen service business over the last 2 years through the launch of a dedicated catering division and the acquisition of several maintenance and breakdown-focused kitchen houses.
