Jestic Foodservice Solutions has extended its product range with the addition of Henny Penny’s GVE low oil volume open fryer.
The system offers an easy to use and affordable solution for kitchens looking to significantly reduce frying oil consumption.
The fryer incorporates built-in prompted filtration which filters vats individually when required, whilst a rinse-wave action drains crumbs.
It also offers 40 cooking programs including idle and melt modes to reduce energy consumption and extend oil life.
Practical design considerations include a heavy duty basket rest which can be easily removed and hinged elements which make cleaning out a vat quick and easy.
Steve Morris, sales director at Jestic, said: “Constructed using high-grade stainless steel, the GVE is built to withstand the rigours of commercial kitchens whilst producing high quality, consistent results every day and cooks the same size load in 27% less oil than a traditional 25-litre vat.”
Morris said that 1, 2, 3, or 4-well full or split vat configurations in a slim footprint are available.
