Foodservice equipment supplier Jestic has inked a distribution partnership with Vitamix for the UK market.
The Kent-based business will offer the manufacturer’s range of food preparation equipment to its customer base and carry out demonstrations at its showroom.
Vitamix is based in the US and offers a wide range of commercial blenders for restaurants and food outlets.
The appointment of Jestic to lead its distribution activities is being supported by a tie-up with top chef Alyn Williams. The Westbury’s head chef will serve as Vitamix’s first ‘chef ambassador’ in the UK this year.
The company says Williams has been using its products for more than 10 years. He will deliver a number of training sessions at Vitamix’s newly-sponsored kitchen at catering school Westminster Kingsway College.
“Our partnership with Jestic and our new chef ambassador, Alyn Williams, are exciting new elements through which we will be communicating the significant benefits that Vitamix high-performance machines can bring to the food services sector,” said Lisa Klein, VP of commercial sales for Vitamix.
