JDS’ proxy election success


Members of the catering equipment industry are closer to members of parliament than might be imagined.

During the general election, Will Quince, the son of JDS Catering Equipment’s co-director, Nigel Quince, stood as a Conservative party candidate in Colchester, Essex.

Last week he was duly elected as that constituency’s MP. He won 18,919 out of 48,593 votes cast.

So any Essex-based distributors know who to call up if they have any political queries from now on.
