Jacobs Douwe Egberts has launched a new professional espresso coffee machine. L’Or Promesso creates several black and milk based coffee varieties using 100% Arabica UTZ certified coffee.

The coffee machine, complete with modern design and touchscreen interface allows for numerous personalisation options. Said to be easy to operate, refill and clean, the compact design should enable refills to be completed swiftly using singlehanded, front-loading access. Cleaning is estimated to require less than 10 minutes per week.

L’Or Promesso is suited to lower volume environments, with a system capable of serving up to 100 cups of freshly brewed coffee a day at a fresh, consistent standard. This is said to be further enabled by using Liquid Roast, which starts at green coffee beans which are then blended and roasted to match UK consumers’ taste profiles, and packed and frozen to seal in the flavour.

Rebecca Parker, liquid and beans category marketing manager, commented: “We are extremely excited to introduce our brand-new coffee experience. L’Or Promesso is 100% coffee brewed under optimal conditions, allowing outlets to serve consistent high-quality coffee every single time. With a simple touch of a button, users can create the ultimate coffee experience for customers, helping to deliver great coffee and repeat custom.

“With the strapline ‘Why Serve Anything Less Than Gold’, at the heart of L’Or Promesso’s benefits is its ability to offer consumers great quality coffee, while at the same time providing operator ease of use and a compelling business proposition.”
