Machines like Hobart’s Two-Level Washer are now available on finance with a built in 3-month payment holiday.

ITW has rolled out a 3-month payment holiday scheme to all of its appliance brands, after Foster and Gamko recently announced the measure.

The group’s leasing and finance division covers products from Hobart’s Equipment Division, Foster Refrigerator, Gamko, and Avery Berkel. Operators taking out new 0% finance deals are to be offered the 3-month ‘payment holidays’ on all of these brands.

The move, exclusive to UK equipment distributors and available across 12, 18 and 24-month interest free credit packages, is designed to give dealers a sales tool while offering end users the chance to protect and maintain cash flow at a time when it’s most needed.

Operators can choose cooking, warewash and food prep products from Hobart Equipment Division, kitchen and bar refrigeration from Foster and Gamko, and software and scales from Avery Berkel.

Gary Wilson, commercial director, Avery Berkel said: “Supporting our customers and the wider industry is so important to us, and the payment holiday has been designed to do just that.”

Tim Bender, sales director, Hobart Equipment Division commented: “As the industry takes its first steps on the long road to recovery, our newly launched division, made up of brands from ITW’s UK Food Equipment Group, have joined forces to support operators in restart mode.

“Utilising ground-breaking new equipment can help streamline and simplify operations where resource is thin on the ground, it can also help save water, energy, and time, when the utility bills begin to stack up. Purchasing using 0% finance makes perfect sense as it is: introducing an optional 3-month payment holiday gives businesses all the benefits on their terms with zero initial outlay.”

Ewen Cairns, UK sales manager, Foster and Gamko added: “That’s three months of your product working for you for free. The payment will then be spread across the remaining contract period, so if your agreement is over 24 months, the payment will be split over 21 months. And of course, you will own the equipment after the final payment.”
