ITW extends payment holiday offer

ITW’s interest-free credit offering is now available on its group products until 31 March 2021.

ITW group companies have extended their interest-free credit offering to 31 March 2021, allowing UK operators taking out new 0% finance deals to choose to take a 3-month payment holiday.

This follows the launch in July of ITW’s new leasing and finance division in the UK, comprising products from Hobart Equipment Division, Foster Refrigerator, Gamko, and Avery Berkel. Initially the offer was valid on products delivered before 31 October 2020.

Operators can choose cooking, warewash and food prep products from Hobart Equipment Division, kitchen and bar refrigeration from Foster and Gamko, and software and scales from Avery Berkel.

Tim Bender, sales director, Hobart Equipment Division said: “Now isn’t the time for us to stop supporting the hospitality industry, so we’re delighted to continue this offer and help our customers in these uncertain times.”

Ewen Cairns, UK sales manager, Foster and Gamko, added: “The hospitality industry is facing further unknowns, and we want to do everything we can to help them. We knew the offer would go down well, but the uptake has been unprecedented.

“It’s been reassuring to see that the appetite for top-quality equipment is still very much out there as kitchens are putting even more importance on the reliability of a product and the total cost of ownership. People really get that investing in high-quality equipment saves you money over its lifespan, and so to have a means of helping to spread the investment at no extra cost is great news.”

Gary Wilson, commercial director, Avery Berkel said: “We’ll continue to work closely with our customers to ensure we’re able to support them. Extending this offer allows us to do just that and gives operators one less thing to worry about so they can concentrate on their business.”
