“It’s a bittersweet farewell” – Vision waves goodbye to founding member

Business development director Chris Rouine leaves catering equipment distributor after 23 years

Vision Commercial Kitchens has officially announced the retirement of one of its founding members, Chris Rouine.

The catering equipment distributor said it was saying a “bittersweet farewell” to its business development director, who has been an integral part of the team for more than two decades.

Mr Rouine has served at the company for 23 years and played a key role as Vision has grown to become one of the largest commercial kitchen providers in the industry.

The company made sales of more than £19m for the last full year in which accounts are available and has delivered some of the largest and most prestigious hospitality schemes in the industry over the years.

“Chris has been an integral part of our team for the past 20 years, and his contributions to the success of Vision have been invaluable. We’ll especially miss his witty personality and the laughter he brought to the office,” the company stated. “We wish Chris all the best in his retirement and hope he enjoys many rounds of golf on the course.”

Vision is based in Heywood, Lancashire, and employs more than 50 staff. The business is owned by directors Jack Sharkey and Phil Shea.
