Supermarket refrigeration giant Arneg has snapped up German firm IKT Innovative Kalte Technik in a move designed to expand its refrigeration and coldroom offer.
The company said the acquisition will create additional added value for the business in the commercial refrigeration sector.
It intends to act as the single point of contact for the retail sector and to provide turnkey solutions, from design to assembly and after-sales service.
“For Arneg, presenting itself as a one-stop supplier capable of satisfying all customer needs is an ambitious approach,” the company said in a statement.
Italy-based Arneg was established half a century ago and produces a wide range of refrigerated units and cabinets, predominantly for the mass grocery market.
