Keemlaw Catering Equipment’s Colin Thornby has landed a brand new iPad after winning a special prize draw held by True Refrigeration.
True held the competition to express its gratitude to sales partners and customers that have helped develop its business in the UK.
Kent-based Keemlaw recently came on board as a True dealer after deciding the brand offered “the best perceived value for money” in the refrigeration space.
True UK chief Graham Porter presented Thornby with the iPad at Keemlaw’s office last week. “We were delighted with the hundreds of entries we had for the competition,” said Porter. “It was a way to say ‘thank you’ to all the customers and dealers who have helped get the True UK message across about our new, UK-specific refrigeration models.”
Thornby said that while he plans to use his new gadget to read books and watch videos, it will also come in handy for work. “It’s a great piece of technology – presentations look very professional,” he said.
True UK is based in Goldthorpe in South Yorkshire. Alongside extensive warehousing, the head office includes advanced refrigeration testing facilities, which it uses to put its kit through its paces.
