Intracat project manager takes up Meiko post

Warewashing manufacturer Meiko has filled the vacancy that it had for a regional sales manager for the West Midlands area.

The role has been taken up by Richard Reed, who has moved to the company from Cambridgeshire catering equipment distributor Intracat, where he held a project management post.

Prior to that, Reed spent several years with Hobart as area sales manager and assistant CAD manager. Originally trained as an AutoCAD specialist, Reed has a proven track record in high value B2B sales.

He said he was delighted to begin working for the Slough-based manufacturer. “Meiko is a brand leader in quality and technology and is also a fantastic company to work for, not only for the premium product but also the support that is offered to its staff and customers throughout our organisation,” he stated.

Reed’s role will involve winning and managing business in the West Midlands area.
