Visitors to the Internorga trade show in Hamburg on 13-17 March can find out about the latest and most innovative developments in professional kitchen equipment.
Prominent German-headquartered catering equipment manufacturers will be on hand at the exhibition, including Rieber, Hobart, MKN and Rational.
Claudia Johannsen, business unit director of the show’s venue, Hamburg Messe und Congress, underlined: “Without innovative kitchen equipment, professional foodservice will no longer be able to face the tremendous challenges of this sector.
“Restaurant owners and hoteliers should take the chance to find out about the technical innovations as early as possible, and to get an overview of the wide range of products available. The kitchen of the future is already there – Internorga 2020 showcases inspiration, information and the latest trends in digital kitchen technology, all under one roof.”
Appliances on show will feature the latest technologies such as internet connection and networked communication, as well as smart sensors and artificial intelligence.
The technologies are designed for autonomous learning, thus reducing effort and repetitive activities for kitchen staff – especially important for kitchens with high staff fluctuation rates and insufficient trained staff.
Automated cleaning programmes are another benefit in the latest kitchen equipment. The innovative technologies incorporated can think for the user, and analyse warewashing quantities, or regulate water pressure so as to reduce both water consumption and the amount of work needed.
