Instanta continues rebuilding sales team

Mark Facey has joined water boiler manufacturer Instanta as western regional manager following four years of experience with the business development team for parent company Zip Heaters.

In his new role, Facey will be responsible for the West Midlands and Wales, calling on catering equipment suppliers, installers and end-clients in both public and private sectors with the Instanta range.

He is also set to be play a role in developing the specification sector, helping Instanta to build its presence in the commercial projects market for new builds and refurbishments.

Prior to his time with Zip, during which he received a company award for assembling the ‘team of the year’, Facey built up his experience in the mechanical and electrical sector, working across the Midlands in the street lighting market.

“There are some exciting times ahead at Instanta,” says Facey. “The strategy that my team and I are now working towards, coupled with the support I am getting from the office and factory staff, will ensure that this new challenge is successful. I am very much looking forward to being part of it.”

Facey’s arrival follows the appointment of Graham Crisp as national sales manager at the end of last year. He also moved across from parent group Zip and has set about rebuilding the team for 2014.

“Instanta has been around for more than 50 years and it is well known and respected in the market place,” he said after recently taking over. “The potential is there for Instanta to grow considerably and if we can get everything in place that we want to get in place then we should really do well.”
