  1. Sad news indeed; Robert was a true industry innovator who was proud to establish and maintain the very highest professional standards in his work.
It was always a joy to meet with him and Leti and share a story or three about his long and distinguished career. There was always a mischievous twinkle in his eye as he imparted his knowledge and deep seated passion for the industry he loved.
I am sure that Robert will be sadly missed by all that ‘crossed paths’ with him over the years.
My thoughts and condolences are particularly with Leti, his family and those who were close to him.
    Rest in Peace Robert
    Very Best Regards
    Glenn

    1. I think Glenn has summed up Roberts career and personality perfectly and a great tribute to a great character.
. I had the pleasure of dealing with Robert on many projects in my former capacity with MKN. His knowledge, dedication and humour will be missed. Another Titan of this Catering Industry that we all love, lost but not forgotten.
There will be some chatting above now about a heavenly cook chill system to feed all the good people and friends we have lost. Robert will be in his element!
My condolences to LetI and all the family at this difficult and sad time.
      Rest well old friend
