3663 Catering Equipment’s business development manager Trevor Bradley has been named the 2013 Light Equipment Sales Professional of the Year.
Bradley picked up the award at last week’s Light Equipment & Tableware forum in Daventry, organised by CESA.
He was described as being “calm, attentive and well-prepared,” with a “wonderful ability to listen to his clients,” according to his colleagues.
Bradley is the second salesperson from 3663 Catering Equipment to have won the award. Robin Barnes, now of Office Depot, picked up the prize in 2009.
Bradley collected his trophy, bottle of champagne, sponsored entry on to the CFSP course and a cheque for £500 from Nick Oryino, chair of CESA.
Elsewhere, Bunzl Lockhart landed the annual Distributor Cup for the third year running. The accolade recognises the contribution a distributor has made to the market in terms of sales and support.
National account director, Jeremy Bennett, accepted the award and champagne from Stephen Goodliff, chair of the CESA LET Group. “It’s absolutely fantastic to get this level of recognition from the industry,” said Bennett.
Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM), meanwhile, was voted ‘best exhibitor’ by delegates at the show.
All distributors were asked to vote for the company that impressed the most with new products, presentation style or something less tangible. “This is a great way to cap off an excellent event,” said sales manager Martin Shaw upon accepting the award.
