Industry golfers take to the fairways


CEDA has revealed that the recent industry golf day it held generated more than £500 for Hospitality Action.

This year’s competition, which is organised alternately by CEDA and CESA, was held at Moor Hall golf club in Sutton Coldfield.

There was an individual competition, a team competition comprising of teams of four and a CEDA versus CESA competition, as well as two nearest the pin competitions.

The individual winner was Stuart Dale of Amerex Fire International, while the winning team consisted of Ian Hodgson and Dave Coburn of Trak Hupfer, Jeff Archer of Adande and Ian White of Mechline. CEDA won the competition between the two associations.

Peter Kay of CEDA, who organised this year’s event, said: “It was great to have so many golfers turn out for the event and fortunately the weather was perfect and the course was in ideal condition. While we have still to finalise the accounts, we know that we raised over £500 for Hospitality Action.”
