British manufacturer Induced Energy is supplying the equipment for a contract catering competition taking place next week.
Chefs participating in the annual Association of Catering Excellence ‘Ready Steady Cook’ challenge will be cooking on induction hobs built by the Northamptonshire firm.
This is the sixth year running that Induced Energy has supplied eight 13-amp single ring hobs that can accommodate 2/3 pans for this event.
Chris Davies, business development manager at Induced Energy, said: “We are finding more and more that when speed and precision control are required together with safety and reliability, induction always wins.”
The competition gets underway at Imperial College, London on Thursday 26 September.
