Induced Energy hobs take the chequered flag

Induction hob manufacturer, Induced Energy, is hoping to take pole position in the market after landing an order from the Sahara Force India F1 racing team.

The Northamptonshire-based manufacturer says it recently supplied a CS3000QT four-ring induction hob for use in the team’s mobile catering unit.

“The F1 team demand speed and controllability, not just for their cars but also for the team’s catering needs,” said business development manager Chris Davies.

“Having road-tested several hobs, the Induced Energy hob proved to be significantly quicker than their existing induction hobs with the added bonus of infinite power control from 0-99.”

Davies said that the reliability and energy efficiency of the hobs had also swung the team’s decision to specify its equipment.

All of Induced Energy’s hobs are built from scratch at its electronics workshop in Brackley. The nature of the set-up means lead times are short and it can react to new orders within one to two days.
