Comenda has confirmed that it now has a range of hood-type dishwashers that feature inbuilt softeners, bringing it in line with new WRAS regulations.
The PROhood 1 and PROhood 3 models are the first hood machines to contain the inbuilt softeners and the company says further product developments are in the pipeline.
Glen Crossland, marketing chief at distributor Dawson, said: “It was absolutely vital we added these products to the range after listening to our customers — it is another step forward in our warewashing offering.”
The heat recovery system on the new range is designed to reduce energy by transferring the heat produced by the machine to the cold water used for washing.
That also eliminates the need for filters, which Dawson insists cuts down on maintenance issues.
