Imperial hails strength of shelving solutions

Imperial has released the Camshelving Elements Series and Camshelving Range — the latest flexible shelving products from Cambro that are designed to withstand the stresses and strains of the commercial kitchen environment.

The Camshelving Elements Series is made from a composite material, which is as strong as steel and boasts the ability to support loads of up to 272kg per shelf.

Imperial claims its 1980mm traverse makes it the “longest and strongest” shelving system in the industry.

As the shelving is made from polycarbonate covered metal, it is designed to return to its original shape after products are removed from it.

The adjustable units can withstand temperatures as cold as -38 degrees, or as hot as 88 degrees and have a complete resistance to moisture and corrosion.

Meanwhile, the Camshelving Range proclaims to increase storage capacity by a staggering 40%. Ideal for operations with limited space or which need to use their space more efficiently, the shelves can eliminate aisles with easy access to stored products.

The shelves are easy to assemble and configure and are made up of different parts with a stationary unit acting as an anchor for the entire system. Mobile units, which have either vented or solid shelves, then run along a raised track.

Imperial says that no bolts, or drilling is required when laying down the track. It simply connects to the bottom of the stationary Camshelving unit.
