IMC has launched the CS-C1 chipper, which is designed to produce up to 25kg of chips per minute, with minimal waste.
The compact unit, which measures 535mm h x 400mm w x 687mm d, can be mounted on a drainer, worktop or stand but, despite its size, it is designed to bear the weight of a bucket of chips suspended from its chute. Made from heavy gauge stainless steel, it is claimed to be robust and easy to maintain, and simple to wipe down and clean.
An interchangeable, screw down knife block is available in width choices of 12mm, 14mm or 17mm, and is designed to be removed quickly and easily for cleaning or replacement.
A large hopper that can hold up to 12kg should make it easy to load the chipper, while optional potato storage tanks and buckets in various sizes are available to make light work of chip production.
List prices start at £2,348.
