Commercial bar, catering and waste management equipment provider IMC has strengthened its UK operation with the appointment of a new area sales manager for the central region.

The company has hired Phil Pearsall, who brings 12 years of experience in the catering and bar supplies sector, to the role.

He most recently served as business development manager for Pattersons, following time at Gripwatch and PCS Jangro.

Pearsall joins IMC at a time of significant investment and development, not only in the UK but also worldwide, according to the company.

It has set its sights on expansion in the Gulf states by appointing Matt Roberts as VP of international sales for the GCC territories.

Based in Dubai, Roberts will be responsible for business development, technical sales and the creation of partnerships within the GCC.

With many UK-based dealers, consultants and specifiers serving the Middle East market, Roberts will be a good point of contact for those with local operations or representatives.

His solid sales background amassed from his time with Victor Manufacturing, coupled with a passion for engineering, leaves him well placed to play a key role in driving growth for IMC in the UAE and beyond.
