International Food Service Equipment (IFSE)’s MD Andrew Fordyce will be putting his company’s experience of garden centre outfits to good use when he speaks at the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) Catering Conference tomorrow.
Fordyce will be a contributor to one of the afternoon workshops which is focusing on the catering equipment technology available for garden centre restaurants, highlighting key pieces of kit that can help save time and costs. He will discuss developments in catering equipment designed to cope with changing menu trends and demands.
The presentation will also review new products influencing the industry and will cover design and fit-out of garden centre cafes, server design, de-staffing of restaurants, hi-tech equipment such as dishwashers, new technical products, hot counters, hi-speed grills and table trackers, which find the position of customers at their tables.
The conference runs from today until tomorrow at the Belfry Hotel in Sutton Coldfield. Vision Commercial Kitchens is the headline partner for the event.
