Husky Commercial has supplied refrigeration equipment for the new kitchen at Adam’s restaurant in Birmingham, run by Michelin-starred chef, Adam Stokes.
The manufacturer worked directly with Stokes to supply the correct equipment to meet the requirements of the busy kitchen, and help to create a compact yet cleverly designed work space.
The installed models comprise the CPUC3-AL stainless steel prep counter, the CLLD4-AL low level drawer refrigerator and a temperature control upright CSS1-HT fridge and FSSE-HT freezer.
Features of each unit include: digital temperature display and controller, ambient operating temperatures of up to 43°C, removable and adjustable shelves for easy cleaning, hinges designed to withstand considerable force, and self-closing doors.
Serge Kremer, CEO and owner at Husky Commercial, said: “It’s a real honour to supply our equipment to such a prestigious and highly acclaimed restaurant.
“We worked very closely with Adam to make sure we offered the exact equipment he needed in his new kitchen, and will continue to do so by making sure the fridges are working efficiently as part of our after care package.
“We wish Adam the best of luck in the new venue, and we’ll be booking a table to try some of his exquisite dishes!”
Adam’s, which was previously a pop-up restaurant on Bennetts Hill in Birmingham, was recently named the fourth best restaurant for fine dining in the world by TripAdvisor, also holding a Michelin Star. The permanent restaurant opened on Waterloo Street in late January.
Stokes said: “To ensure service can run efficiently and to as high standard as possible in the new kitchen, it’s vital that every piece of equipment is reliable and durable.
“Husky was incredibly attentive throughout the entire installation process and I’m confident we’ve got some great quality, stylish and hard wearing equipment that will last us a very long time!
“With its excellent personal service and friendly approach, it was the natural choice for us.”
