Next year's Hotelympia will feature four co-located shows.

Hotelympia has unveiled the first details of the four new co-located shows which will comprise its 2018 edition.

Registration is now open for the exhibition, which will take place at London’s ExCel on 5-8 March 2018.

Each of the four new shows, The Professional Kitchen Show, The Foodservice Show incorporating Café Commerce, Hospitality Tech Show and Interiors and Tableware Show, will be specialist events in themselves, says organiser Fresh Montgomery.

The Professional Kitchen Show is set to offer 2018’s first view of everything new in catering equipment and kitchen design as it welcomes over 150 dedicated exhibitors to the show floor, which Fresh Montgomery says is the largest gathering of its kind in the UK.

The Professional Kitchen Show is also backed by CESA, CEDA, Cedabond and the FCSI, each representing key manufacturing and wholesale groups within the industry.

The show will feature over a dozen prominent UK chefs offering up interactive cooking demos on The Staff Canteen Live, an interactive live chef stage. This includes Dan Doherty, executive chef at 24-hour restaurant Duck and Waffle and Michelin star chef Paul Ainsworth, of Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 in Padstow.

Staff Canteen Live MD, Mark Morris, commented: “In past years we’ve treated Hotelympia visitors to up-close-and-personal encounters with some of the biggest names in cooking. This time around we’ll be introducing audiences to yet more chefs at the vanguard of the business, including Dan and Paul, whose reputations really do precede them. Come and see our full line up in action, get an insight into day to day operations, learn, taste and be inspired.”

The newly created Interiors and Tableware Show at Hotelympia will showcase innovative suppliers and experiential features backed by specially-commissioned insight. A series of unique design installations will make up an integral part of the show floor – giving visitors a first look at the latest, consumer-led design trends.

The show has partnered with SquareMeal, the independent restaurant guide, to bring an experiential installation to the show, helping to highlight 2018’s emerging consumer trends and influence key buying decisions.

The Foodservice Show will celebrate the dynamism, diversity and depth of innovation within the UK food and drink market, while the Hospitality Tech Show will champion the best new products and solutions emerging from global hospitality tech players, alongside some entrepreneurial smaller businesses.

Hotelympia portfolio director, Ross Carter, commented: “For the past 83 years Hotelympia has upheld a proud tradition of demonstrating the future of hospitality. In 2018, this promise is strengthened by giving each of our dedicated sectors its own clear identity and defined space in which to do business.

“The 2018 exhibitor list for each show already reads like a who’s who of innovators, but this time around we are delighted to be giving a platform to some of the UK’s most exciting start-ups – suppliers in every sector that will be setting the agenda for years to come. I urge visitors hungry for insight, innovation and everything new in hospitality to preregister for Hotelympia today.”
