Hoshizaki has rolled out its 5 year parts and labour warranty to the Gram Standard Plus range.

Having integrated the Gram Refrigeration range into the Hoshizaki portfolio earlier this year, the manufacturer has rolled out what it describes as a “market-leading” 5 year parts and labour warranty across the Gram Standard Plus range.

The firm believes that this will give dealers and distributors another USP to sell Hoshizaki appliances.

Available on existing products in the Gram Superior Plus, Eco, Bakery, Compact and Gastronorm counter ranges, the 5 year parts and labour warranty that is now also available on the six Standard Plus models is backed by a nationwide network of experienced Gram refrigeration engineers.

The Standard Plus range includes variations of 610 litre upright meat, fridge and freezer cabinets, and features a large, heavy-duty, floor standing design with three removable shelves.

Fitted with the natural hydrocarbon refrigerant R290, each appliance is said to have a low Global Warming Potential of 3. Food safety is designed to be enhanced thanks to a series of temperature and door open alarms, while a fan assisted air distribution system should help to generate rapid temperature recovery and consistent temperatures throughout the cabinet.

Simon Frost, director of sales and chain accounts at Hoshizaki UK, commented: “As a company, we’re fully committed to ensuring all our equipment is of the very highest quality and that our aftersales service exceeds our customers’ expectations.

“This is why we have decided to roll out our 5 year warranty, which was previously available on our Gram Superior Plus, Bakery, Compact and Gastronorm counters and cabinets, to our Standard Plus range too. Demonstrating our trust in the units, we’re confident that when correctly operated, cleaned and maintained, the appliances in the Standard Plus series will perform to the very highest operational benchmarks and continued efficiencies for many years to come.”
