Hoshizaki has become the first sponsor of this year’s Catering Insight Awards, following the announcement of the event returning in person.
The ceremony, taking place at London’s 8 Northumberland Avenue on Thursday 18 November, will see the refrigeration specialist presenting the Digital Initiative of the Year trophy to one innovative dealer.
The category will honour a distributor, either traditional or online, who has really embraced the digital medium, whether it is for sales, service, technology, showcasing their capabilities or an innovative social media campaign. This can encompass everything from remote consultations, BIM, virtual reality technology, website design and function or utilising social media tools at their disposal.
This is the fourth time that Hoshizaki UK has backed this accolade at the Catering Insight Awards, and the fifth time overall, as the firm also sponsored the same category at last year’s digital event, the Kitchen & Equipment Awards.

Nominations will open next month, with the shortlists announced towards the end of October. Hundreds of senior sector executives will once again choose the winners themselves, with distributors voting on the supplier categories and vice versa.
