The Kitchen & Equipment Awards has signed up a second sponsor in the form of Hoshizaki.
After the refrigerator manufacturer has supported the Catering Insight Awards since 2017, it has now transferred its backing to the online Kitchen & Equipment Awards, a joint initiative between Catering Insight and sister publication Foodservice Equipment Journal for this year only.
The ceremony will be premiered on both titles’ YouTube channels during the week beginning 30 November. Hoshizaki will be supporting the distributor Digital Initiative of the Year category, particularly important this year when so many operations have gone remote.
The accolade honours a distributor, either traditional or online, who has really embraced the digital medium – whether it is for sales, service, technology, showcasing their capabilities or an innovative social media campaign.
