Hoshizaki has made it a treble for its backing of the Digital Initiative category at this year’s Catering Insight Awards, in association with the First Choice Group.
The accolade honours a distributor, either traditional or online, who has really embraced the digital medium, whether it is for sales, service, technology, showcasing their capabilities or an innovative social media campaign. This can encompass everything from BIM, virtual reality technology, website design and function or utilising the Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn tools at their disposal.
Digital Initiative of the Year will be one of 16 categories presented at the 2019 event, which will be held on Thursday 28 November at the grand Banking Hall in central London.
Hoshizaki UK and Ireland’s director Simon Frost said of his company’s support: “Returning for the third consecutive year, we are delighted to be sponsoring the Digital Initiative Award, identifying those who have made significant steps to growing their presence online, embracing technology and the latest digital platforms in the process.
“Dealers are intrinsically linked to our business and represent our route to market at Hoshizaki UK. As such, we feel that the Catering Insight Awards are the perfect platform to demonstrate our commitment our partners, while celebrating success and recognising the outstanding achievement from within this sector.”
He further praised the annual event, commenting: “The Catering Insight Awards 2018 was a fantastic evening held at the stunning Bloomsbury Ballroom in central London. The evening combined an exceptional location with a night of celebrations and a somewhat lively after-party, all helping to conclude what had, in general, been a great year for our industry as a whole.
“Of course, the highlight of the evening had to be our success in the ‘Supplier of the Year: Sustainability’ category, for the second consecutive year – thanks to all who voted for us!”
Frost concluded: “What sets the Catering Insight Awards out from other high-profile events is those being celebrated. The dealer and distributor channel is an essential sales and support network for our industry, but one that often goes unnoticed when it comes to recognising the hard work and continued achievement of those operating within it. Now in their fifth year, the Catering Insight Awards continue to go from strength to strength and they are something that many look forward to with much anticipation and eagerness.”
