Hoshizaki has extended its Gram Compact range of professional, space saving freezers with the addition of a new glass door model, the 420FG.
With a footprint of 595mm wide by 667mm deep, the new Compact 420FG glass door freezer can be used for front of house applications where space is at a premium and offers 359 litres (gross) of storage capacity.
The glass door is designed to make it easy and convenient for chefs to identify produce or for customers to select an item when the unit is being used as a self-serve cabinet. The Compact 420FG also incorporates Hoshizaki’s smart controller which provides operators with touch-screen access to controls and simplified functions.
Hoshizaki’s director for UK and Ireland, Simon Frost, said: “We are delighted to be adding the new glass door freezer to the popular Gram Compact range.
“A unique ventilated air distribution system, together with an efficient refrigeration system and our new, advanced controller, guarantees safe and superior results, whilst LED lighting is built into the three layered glass door to perfectly showcase products for self-serve customers. Furthermore the 420FG operates as just 36 decibels, so it is as quiet as it is efficient.”
The 420FG is B rated for energy efficiency, consuming 1,231kWh per year and uses the natural refrigerant, R600a.
Other features include: an integrated full height door handle providing an easy grip and easy access for cleaning; five anti-spillage tilt prevention shelves; door lock for extra security; automatic defrost feature with the re-evaporation of defrost water, and a one piece, no gaps lining.
