Yorkshire kitchen house and fabricator Hopkins has completed a bespoke frying range fit-out at a new fish and chip shop in Stoke.
The company, which fits commercial kitchens but also specialises in the fish and chip sector, managed the design, specification and installation of all the equipment at The Codfather shop.
Hopkins provided layout drawings for the outlet and included the correct equipment to satisfy local authority conditions for converting the premises into a take away.
Once planning had been agreed, Hopkins manufactured and supplied the frying range along with all the ancillary catering equipment and refrigeration.
The company operates a manufacturing department at its Leeds HQ which produced the bespoke 3 pan high efficiency counter frying range with hinged lids.
In addition to the frying range, odour control and noise reduction equipment where manufactured and installed to comply with the local authority regulations.
Other equipment manufactured included a Hopkins chipper, peeler, eyeing tank, interceptor tank, catering sink, handwash basins and fish prep station with defrost stand.
Hopkins also supplied ancillary catering equipment including refrigeration units, electric kebab grills with fume filtration hoods, a 6 pot wet well bains marie and a Samsung 1900W heavy duty microwave.
