Holmes Group grows into facilities management space


Commercial kitchen supplier Holmes Group has augmented its recent membership of CEDA by joining the British Institute of Facilities Management.

The York-based company said it was “delighted” to have been accepted into the institute, which promotes the improvement of facility management services in the UK.

It added that the membership would offer it a further insight into the facility management environment, helping it keep abreast of new developments and engage the group in learning opportunities.

The firm’s management said that joining CEDA and the BIFM in the space of a few weeks was a boost for the business.

“Both these relationships convey Holmes Group’s determination to continue its successful development as both a supplier of foodservice equipment and as a full turn-key partner with major foodservice and retail catering clients,” the company stated.

The Holmes Group was established in 1987 and designs, manufactures and installs commercial kitchens, foodservice and food production equipment and facilities.

Its clients range from pubs, cafes and speciality food shops to supermarket, hotel and restaurant groups, as well as public sector organisations.
