Hobart has unveiled a new compact undercounter warewasher specifically designed for use in the care sector.
The manufacturer claims that the unit can halve a site’s energy, water and detergent costs in one day, compared to a leading household machine.
Hobart Care is said to twin the simplicity of a household or semi-professional machine, with the functionality of a commercial model.
Patented technology means it is designed to deal with up to 80 racks per day, thermally disinfecting soiled ware with 100°C steam.
Tim Bender, sales director – Hobart Warewashing UK, said: “Warewashing in the care sector is subject to a host of special requirements and this new machine has been designed specifically to help sites meet those challenges head-on.
“The footprint and ease of use mirror that of a household model, yet the sheer performance trumps anything else available in the sector.
“The perfect, cost-effective blend of speed, efficiency, high spec build quality and hygienic cleaning power where it is most integral.”
The compact (h x 820mm/w x 600mm/d x 600mm) undercounter machine is said to be 90% faster than a household model, using 80% less water and 65% less than its semi-professional counterpart.
