Hobart’s CAD and BIM product libraries will now be curated by Specifi.

Foodservice equipment manufacturer Hobart is utilising Specifi’s Studio content creation service to assemble and continually update its BIM Revit and CAD library of products.

Hobart is the latest among hundreds of manufacturers now relying on Specifi to create and distribute updated, high-quality, IFSE-standard product information to the marketplace.

Gilda Tizzi, Specifi’s European market development manager, said: “Having the opportunity to work with a company of Hobart’s stature is a true honour. With Specifi Studio, we future-proof product data to protect it from evolving standards, software revisions and product changes.”

Hobart develops, manufactures and distributes machines and equipment in the fields of warewashing and cleaning technology, cooking and food preparation as well as environmental technology.

As part of the Studio partnership, Specifi will be creating and updating libraries for Hobart’s brands.

Specifi Studio creates and distributes 2D CAD, 3D CAD and Revit product libraries that enable customers to access via the free Specifi Share system as well as Specifi’s suite of software solutions: Specifi Quote and Specifi Design.

Specifi CEO Bob Wolters added: “Content is no longer static, it’s about your customers building your products exactly as they want them – dynamically on demand. That’s why more manufacturers are discovering that Specifi Studio is so effective at getting their updated product catalogues in the hands of dealers, consultants and designers – right when they need them.”
