Hobart Warewash is launching an exclusive dealer incentive scheme to reward the sales of greener equipment, using finance, to the independent sector.
Dealer salespeople could earn an incentive per transaction, depending on the machine specified. Applying to sales of Hobart’s new PROFI and PREMAX undercounter and hood type products, those that secure six or more finance deals between 1 October and 31 December will secure an additional bonus.
Offering end users the chance to spread the cost of Hobart’s warewashers, the new flexible finance packages – a 3/5 year contract rental, extended 18/24 interest-free option and pre-existing 12-month deal – are available now on all equipment, tabling and installation.
The incentive scheme comes in the wake of Hoshizaki’s recent Equipped for the Future Report 2018 research suggesting that 50% of end users blame cost for not buying greener equipment.
Tim Bender, sales director, Hobart Warewashing UK, contends that introducing longer, interest-free payment terms will mean more independent businesses – those that rely so heavily upon unrestricted cash flow – can reap the rewards.
Whilst helping these outlets realise their sustainability ambitions and move on to higher spec equipment, independents could also benefit from the long-term cost savings associated with greener equipment and a machine that’s built to last.
He said: “In introducing these new plans – and incentivising our dealer partners to sell them in – we’re saying to independent operators that cost should never be an obstacle to obtaining the high spec, energy saving machine they require as opposed to settling for the one they think they can afford. The new incentive scheme presents dealers with a double win; providing a much needed leg-up to local enterprise, and securing more orders into the bargain.”
Hobart is currently working with its dealer partners to forearm sales teams with the resources necessary to sell in the new packages and benefit from the incentive scheme.
